My Memoir
People around me and especially my friends know me as Ashok Kumar, born and raised in a middle-class family in New Delhi. I reside in heavily trafficked area of Sagarpur, a small area that adjoins Janak Puri- which was once known as Asia’s biggest colony. We are a close knit, joint family and my parents often come to stay with me; however, they are settled in their home town, contended with their usual chores. I and my brother stay under one roof; both of us are happily married and continuing to strive to fulfil our familial commitments in the fast running cosmopolitan lifestyle. Besides, I also have a loving sister and she is settled in her life in sub-urban town of Panipat, which is quite close to Delhi.
My wife is a homemaker and she keep herself busy in raising kids. When the kids come back from school, she is busy in taking care of their usual state of things. My children are enrolled in a school nearby and they are performing well in their studies. Of course, they are like many other children… though somewhere deep inside, I believe, they are better performers. God be with them always. I want them to work for government sector on higher levels. Well, it is destiny, and I don’t find it right to comment.
The academics part had a fair and square share. I have Bachelors in Science with specialization in Mathematics from University of Delhi. I also hold MBA, majoring in Marketing and Management from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. I completed a diploma in computers application to gain awareness on computer programming as well as analytics. The course is interesting, and I feel contended too.
I have 10 work experience under my garb, and in diversified domains, including lead generation, market research and analysis, data analytics and many more. Life has taught me the ways to live a balanced life, and I keep it going in the same way. The year 2014 was when I delve into mainstream research and data field. The decision has become a game changer ever since. Diversified projects and innovative assignments and platform for extended learning – I have tasted all of it. On professional front, it is always the “Never Say Die Attitude,” which gives me the energy to perform in any type of challenging environment.
I am hopeful of becoming a well acclaimed data scientist and researcher, no matter what it takes. Life has changed me completely, and it instils new way of learning. I prefer not to be judgemental or overtly possessive about the things happening around. Let them happen, it is only for my good. I am experiencing lessons more than anything else. Change is always imminent, and it is my gut feeling that through consistent perseverance, the change itself becomes the catalyst of success.
…From the memoir diaries of a man who loves challenges and lives the life on his terms;
