My Memoir

People around me and especially my friends know me as Ashok Kumar , born and raised in a middle-class family in New Delhi. I reside in heavily trafficked area of Sagarpur, a small area that adjoins Janak Puri- which was once known as Asia’s biggest colony. We are a close knit, joint family and my parents often come to stay with me; however, they are settled in their home town, contended with their usual chores. I and my brother stay under one roof; both of us are happily married and continuing to strive to fulfil our familial commitments in the fast running cosmopolitan lifestyle. Besides, I also have a loving sister and she is settled in her life in sub-urban town of Panipat, which is quite close to Delhi. My wife is a homemaker and she keep herself busy in raising kids. Life post Covid-19

          The world has been suffering from one of the deadliest pandemics in a century. Coronavirus is a global crisis and the toughest challenge we have ever faced in a lifetime. Around 22.2 million people around the world have been affected by Covid-19 since the first case was found in China in late November 2019.           The current pandemic has put the whole world at standstill. No countries have escaped from Coronavirus. Countries are struggling to control it. With severe lockdown in many nations, almost 1/3 population of the world has to stay home. The future is uncertain, and there is no specific information on when the situation will stabilize. Undoubtedly, people are learning valuable lessons through this pandemic, and the world would not be the same place post-COVID-19.
